A childhood dream, just like in American movies. Rolling the miles, eating the dust, surveying the great outdoors, in search of what?<br\/>No humans, that&#8217;s for sure. Make way for silence, neon-colored rain and morning mist against a backdrop of desert landscapes.<br\/>On every street corner, the same drugstores, the same motels, the same signs all over the country. You&#8217;d think they&#8217;d save money on typos.<br\/>Time is frozen, and while you&#8217;re sure you&#8217;re in the US, you can&#8217;t tell exactly where you&#8217;ve just been, because the aesthetic is so unchanging.<br\/>The hyper-realism of the scenes depicted flirts with the dreamlike and fantastic, and the unreal colors plunge us into a cinematic atmosphere inviting us to doubt and reflect. Like nowhere else.<br\/>NOWHERE BUT HERE will be the occasion for SPYK to present its work simultaneously in Marseille and Paris. The exhibition will open on October 10 with a vernissage in our gallery at 18 rue Dragon, Marseille, and will run until November 7.
