The natural energies, movements and colors of his own personal experiences of landscapes are transformed into an image or visual object.<\/p>\n\n<p>The tones he experiments with are elusive illusions that emerge through the play of light and the reflection of his surfaces.<\/p>\n\n<p>To capture the elusive in something tangible like pigment or paint, Jan conducts in-depth research into the different qualities of pigments and materials.
