Diane Benoit du Rey is a French painter born in 1989.
She develops a pictorial practice centered on perceptual phenomena related to light and color. Her work explores altered states of vision and questions the boundaries of the visible, between appearance and disappearance. It engages a reflection on what we see, what escapes the gaze, and what perception reconstructs.
In 2023, she presented a major institutional exhibition entitled Hypnose at the Espace Richaud in Versailles. In 2025, her work was featured at major international events, including Art Basel Paris and Art Basel Miami Beach.
